Wore this to a winter formal and the twill satin has a surprisingly good weight to it. It hugs the chest nicely without feeling too restrictive when sitting down. I did have to steam out some stubborn packaging creases for a while, but the color looked absolutely amazing in dim lighting.

Perfect fit at the waist and the fabric drapes beautifully. The zipper is a bit stiff but it's fine.

I was worried the fabric might look cheap, but the satin has a really subtle, elegant sheen. It was a bit long on me even with heels, so I had to get it hemmed. Other than that, it's super comfortable to dance in and not see-through at all.

What I love most about this gown is how easy it is to style. Because the design is so classic and elegant, you can pair it with pretty much any statement jewellery or clutch bag and it just works. I tried it on with my silver heels and a simple necklace, and the whole outfit looked completely put together in seconds.
