I was worried the satin would show every little flaw, but the fabric actually has a nice weight to it and drapes beautifully. I wore it through the entire reception and never even felt the need to loosen it. The lace embroidery on the sleeves is definitely the detail that makes it stand out.

I usually struggle with sleeves being too tight, but these short sleeves have just enough room. The V-neck isn't too deep, very appropriate for a mother of the bride. It did arrive with a weird smell, but hanging it outside for a day cleared it up. Very flattering silhouette overall.
