I ordered this for a fancy corporate holiday party. I usually avoid mermaid cuts because I carry weight in my stomach, but the ruching and the way it drapes totally hid my problem areas. The leg slit is just high enough to be fun without feeling inappropriate for a work thing. I did have to get it hemmed because I am pretty short, but that is pretty normal for me.

Picked this up for the rehearsal dinner. It is a really pretty gown and the off shoulder sleeves are cute. I wish it came in a few more pastel colors, but the dark shade I got worked out fine. Good quality for the price.
