I ordered the navy blue and it is a true, rich navy. The dress is well made and the seams are sturdy. I will say the zipper is a little stiff at the waist seam, so you might need someone to help you zip it up. Wore it to a military ball and it was perfect for the occasion.

Honestly I am so impressed with this gown. I needed something elegant for my son's evening wedding and this hit the mark perfectly. The satin material has a nice weight to it so it hangs beautifully without clinging to every little bump. I danced all night and felt totally comfortable. The high split gave it just enough edge without feeling inappropriate for a mom.
