The trumpet shape is quite flattering, and the stitching seems sturdy enough. I do think the train is a bit much for a small venue, so I might have it altered.

I was expecting a lighter fabric, but it's actually nicely structured. The bodice gives great support even without a bra. The only downside is that since it's a mermaid style, it felt a bit tight around the thighs when I sat down for the reception. I had to be careful not to make any sudden movements, but it looks absolutely stunning for standing photos.
